Frank is a German national who grew up as a typical teenager in Germany. He was generally interested in spiritual things but thought church was the last place to find God. As it turns out, he was placed in a loving Christian family when he came to the US on a one-year student exchange in Georgetown, TX. Not only did his life make a full turn around when he accepted Christ, but God called him into full time ministry one year later. He went on to study theology at the Free Theological Academy in Giessen, Germany, from 1990-94, and at Dallas Theological Seminary from 1995-96. Frank enjoyed his first experiences in vocational ministry with a focus on working with children and youth at Eden Road Community Church in Arlington, Texas, from 1995 to 1999. Frank returned to Germany with his wife Terrae and was involved in a church planting ministry from 1999 until 2005. In the fall of 2005, Frank came on Young Life staff as Berlin area director in order to focus on reaching out to disinterested teenagers in Germany’s capital of 3.5 million people.
Terrae grew up spiritually in her grand-parents church in Paradise, Texas. She went on from High School to get a teaching degree in History and English at the University of Texas in Arlington in 1999. She was born to be a teacher! She loves working with children and teenagers, and her true passion in ministry is to reach out to teenage girls. In 2001, she received her MA in Education from The Open University, England, which allowed her to teach at two international schools in Berlin. Currently, she is focused on raising our two sons Luke and Colby. Frank and Terrae have two sons who were both born in Berlin,
Luke (12/07/02), and Colby (07/08/04)
